After a heart-stopping whaleshark adventure, Me and my family took a little detour to visit the falls one of the locals suggested before leaving the province.
Recently discovered, still fairly untouched, really gorgeous , about 3hours drive from the city.
The drive to the falls from the whaleshark area only took about 10 minutes–the roads are zippy new and viewing the soaring bamboos is so relaxing. We parked at the top of the road and took a steep walk down since the area is still undeveloped and not commercialized, it was 11am then.

The height of the waterfalls is high. It is composed of mini-waterfalls by level. An ideal place to turn tail after a busy weekdays. Great idea for a weekend getaway. You can't really swim here unlike the other waterfalls as waters on the ground are just ankle-level. It’s one of those hidden natural treasures that I hope stays preserved!

Tumalog waterfalls just captivated me. God never stop letting us experience how great His creations are. Being with family made it more unforgettable..

How to get here via public transport:
(CEBU CITY)
Take a bus ride at South Bus Terminal going OSLOB – for PhP155*
- Inform the driver to drop you off at “Eskina Saging” Tumalog, Oslob
- Travel time would take a minimum of 3 hours
(Tumalog, Oslob)
-Take a habal-habal ride – for Php30*
- Inform the driver to bring to tumalog/toslob Falls (or just say the nearest falls)
- You will be dropped off a-stone-throw away from the falls
- Travel time would take about 10mins.
- Better to inform the driver to come back, set time, as there are no habal2x waiting at the area. Or else, you can just walk for (I guess) 30mins.
